Our team includes personnel specialized in diverse fields and capable at handling assignments at various levels of responsibility. Partners and staff members of Marafie Consultancy keep themselves updated on the latest issues and new developments in the field of accounting, advisory and taxation. This knowledge allows Marafie to offer our clients most relevant and timely information. Our Team includes 8 members including three members of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Pakistan (ICAP) that is a prestige professional body in Pakistan. Following are the profiles of key leaders.
Abdullah Bayounis – B.Sc. M.Sc., CFC
Eng. Abdullah Bayounis: Got his B. Sc. and M. Sc. In Mechanical engineering at PSU Portland, USA. Worked for more than 30 years in leading positions in a variety of mining and petrochemical
companies such as SABIC, Madden, Unichem,Almanar,Sahara petrochemical. Currently, he is the president of Marafie Consultants
in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Abdullah Bayounis has vast experience of industrial feasibilities, SIDF loans, project management business restructuring, financial modeling and has served variety of clients within GCC.
M. Aamir Gulzar –ACCA, CA, CFC, CIA, MBA
M. Aamir Gulzar holds ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified
Accountants) from UK., MBA in Banking & Finance. He is also a
CA-Finalist from ICAP, Pakistan completed his article ship with
Deloitte & Touché. He has worked in Tallal Abu Ghazalah CPA as
audit manager. Aged 42 with 15 years of combined experience he has conducted and supervised external and internal audit and special investigation assignments of various industries. He has experience in taxation,VAT and IFRS implementation in Pakistan as well as GCC. He is
one of the working partners in Marafie.
Imran Sarwer – FCA,PIFA
Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) # 5373 from ICAP;14 years
experience in Audit, Assurance, Taxation, Financial Reporting and
Compliance; Fellow Member (6629) of Pakistan Institute of Public
Finance Accountants (PIFA); Worked as Audit Manager at
Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu for 5 years. He is partner in one audit
firm in Pakistan. He has Saudi Arabia residence permit and shall be
available with Marafie on call and need basis.
Ghulam Rasool – FCA , CFC, CIA
Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) # 5976 from ICAP; 22 years experience in Taxation, Audit, Assurance, Financial Reporting and Compliance; Fellow Member (3143) of Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountants (PIFA); Worked as Tax Manager at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu for 7 years; Vast experience in VAT and Taxation matters.
Ahmed Shawkey – ACPA, MBA
Mr. Ahmed Shawkey, an Egyptian national, is master in accountancy and has 8 years of versatile
experience in audit and consultancy. He has 6 years of audit experience in the Kingdom. During his
career Ahmed has executed number of jobs in audit, Zakat and taxation
